Biography
JONAS LOVV is the definition of a musical force of nature. From his breakout on The Voice to delivering one of the most dominant victories in the history of Melodi Grand Prix (MGP), he has solidified his reputation as a true powerhouse performer. Now, he is ready to take that energy to the global stage, representing Norway in the Eurovision Song Contest.
Hailing from Bergen, Norway, Jonas brought raw power and soaring vocals to the MGP stage in Lillehammer with his infectious anthem, “Ya Ya Ya”. The performance secured a flawless win: a clean sweep of the international juries with a perfect 12/12 score across the board, coupled with a landslide victory in the televote. This superior result earned him the honor of carrying the Norwegian flag to Vienna in May 2026.
Norway first took notice of Jonas in 2025 during the tenth season of The Voice, where he captivated both coaches and the public with a distinctive vocal grit and a stage presence that felt years ahead of his time.
He spent the following summer proving his mettle as a live performer on some of Western Norway’s largest festival stages, later showcasing his versatility by selling out Latter in Oslo two nights in a row and Grieghallen in Bergen, alongside Else Koss Furuseth, Skrellex, and the Norwegian Radio Orchestra (KORK).
